This website was created to show our fellow classmates EXAMPLES of what information will be included in the Class Memory Books that you will receive at the 20 year reunion. Natalie (Grotjohn) Overturf
After high school I attended North Central University in Mpls, where I met
my husband Steve. We were married in 1994 and moved to Chicago where we
worked with teenagers for about 5 years. After a short interim period of
being "homeless", i.e. living one of my husband's dreams by camping for
about 6 weeks in Colorado, we began preparations to move to Sudan. At this
point, we had 2 children.
After spending a year in Sudan we returned to the States to address some
developmental issues for one of our kids. This process took a little longer
than we thought and we also brought babies 3, 4, and 5 into the world before
returning to Sudan in early 2008. So, it was 5 early years with no kids
and the next 7 years bringing 5 of them!!! :) We've learned to live with a
fair amount of chaos as the norm and I couldn't imagine it any other
way.it's a blast!
We have now been back in Sudan for about 3 years and plan to be here
indefinitely, returning to the States every 3-4 years or so. It is a
fantastic adventure to serve Jesus and we love the people of Sudan. It is
crazy hot here, and sometimes we wonder if we're crazy for being here, but
we are exactly where we are supposed to be.
So, there you have it.from Hastings to the Sahara desert! I will really
miss being at the reunion, so those of you that don't have the excuse of
being an ocean away better be there!! We have a great class and I have many
fond memories of times shared with you all. God bless you friends, Natalie

Christy (Lundby) Hill
I attended the UW-Madison and absolutely loved college life! I met a group of friends who were Latin Americans & loved the culture! Great people – family centered, fun, exciting! We went Latin dancing several nights a week & I even won 2nd place in a Merengue Contest! I graduated from college in 1994 with a double major in Political Science & International Relations. To my parents dismay, weeks afterwards I took a 2 week class in Real Estate & have been doing that ever since! I’d never take back those college years as they were some of the best years in my life. I moved back to Hastings in 1995 and joined my mom in Real Estate! I truly found a job that I love and am excited to go to work everyday! I’ve traveled quite a bit - I have a timeshare in Mexico and have visited San Francisco & Florida a couple of times, I went to Italy and went on mission trips to Israel/ Jordan and Spain. I finally met the love of my life and had my first child – Ethan when I was 35 & had a Daughter, Vivian a year ago. I am now at a time in my life that many of my friends are done with – diapers – but I love every minute of it!!! I thank God everyday for my wonderful family, friends, health & happiness.

I love my life as it is now. I have been working at 3M in Cottage Grove as a Logistic Inventory Control Coordinator since 2004. I started at 3M in September of 1998. I so love my job.
